
I get asked a lot by clients about targeting specific muscle groups to improve their look and feel.
I am not a huge fan of this kind of training, not only because it does not build overall fitness for the long term, but also because maintaining aesthetic physical balance is a very challenging endeavour.
It is possible, however, to exercise specific muscle groups and to focus on and build them up, and strengthen these groups as part of a broader fitness strategy.
