During the COVID-19 outbreak gyms and fitness centres are closed to help control the spead of the virus.
But this does not mean that all exercise must end. In this vein social media (and particularly YouTube) are awash with men and women exercising in their bedrooms, lounges and hallways. But why do this when you can venture outside to exerise in your local park?
Such outside exercising, as well as running in permitted at the time of writing (in the UK, anyway) so this might actually be a great opportunity to get some fresh air and to enjoy the great outdoors.
There are many options for park exercising (not just running!), as demonstrated by our good friend, Andrew, in the video above. Essentially, anything you can do in our own home that does not include equipment can be undertaken in a park and it's more fun exercising this way as well.
So, give up the confines of your place of residence and get outside!
