I get asked a lot about the best equipment to buy to be able to exercise effectively at home. Not totally unexpectedly, these kinds of questions have increased over the past year or so!
Various pieces of equipment can be useful when working out at home (elastic bands, an abs' wheel, free weights and, if the space is available, a rowing machine or cycle), but nothing beats the opportunities that are available where exercise is concerned, than going to a gym.
Gym membership, in my opinion, is one of the most positive investments we can make with our discretionary spending, particularly in the long-term.
Where supplementary equipment is concerned, however, I would suggest investing in kettle drums, as they are useful in strength training particularly and can be stored pretty easily. There are also fairly easy to follow exercises online which utilise kettle drums and these can also be useful as part of an ongoing fitness programme. See this Men's Health article for more on this.
Plus, if you have any queries about exercising in or out of a gym, let me know!
