Don’t be distracted when you train.
There is a lot to be distracted about right now (including something particularly distracting), which can draw focus and drain a gym workout of its value and meaning. This is a situation not helped by the intrusion of additional regulations and messaging onto the gym floor and into the thinking of gym members as they go through their workout.
Gyms used to be places where members could focus on the physical, mental and emotional, as well as escape the challenges of the world beyond the turnstile. They remain that place today, despite the noise and concerns that surround us in our daily lives. So, value that space and the opportunities it offers to build strength and resilience.
