This is such an important topic, as without a stable core the body can become vulnerable to injury and progressive weakness as we grow older, which can result in loss of mobility, discomfort and diminishing confidence during our daily lives. All of which are to be avoided, obviously!
There are a range of achievable and safe core exercises which are outlined online, particularly on YouTube, and which can be undertaken as part of a balanced workout programme. I include some of these in my blog post, all of which require no equipment and can be undertaken at home.
So, don't neglect the core. It matters for how we live our lives and how long we live them for!
