I like to break down a workout that can be an hour long, for example, into bite-sized combinations which most people can do to build a longer, more demanding workout. Getting the technique right and understanding the baseline fitness of the individual are the foundation stones for then building upwards to a more challenging exercise routine.
Start with focus, energy and determination and the rest of the workout will, in due course, follow and deliver the results that are required (which should be improved strength and fitness!).
Plus, it’s liberating to workout in the parks of London (and enjoyable too in the summer).
The above may change come the wind and rain, once summer is out the way, but for the moment and for the months ahead, breathe in the fresh air, appreciate the warmth of the sun on your skin and appreciate the opportunities this time of year offers where outside exercise is concerned.
