
I read an interesting article in Men's Health this morning on the topic of which fruits have the highest levels of protein. It's a fun article and, if focusing on protein is your thing, helpful in terms of understanding which fruits have a measurable protein value.
Gotta say I love apricots (and avocados!), though I think it's important not to turn our appreciation of healthy food into a laboratory exercise. Health food is to be appreciated both for its nutritional value and its taste and wonder. It is part of the pleasure of life to enjoy a balanced diet for what it is and not for what it can do for us or our bodies.
Balance is everything, even where fruit is concerned!
